On Thursday (February 16), the 30-year-old 'Love You Like A Love Song' pop star sat down for a chat with her followers on TikTok where she candidly opened up about her medications and how it affects her weight. Gomez explained to thousands of her viewers that her weight fluctuations because of lupus - a long-term, incurable condition that impacts the immune system - and the medication she takes for it, which causes her to "hold a lot of water weight". The Only Murders in The Building actress added that by opening up with her struggles, she hopes it will "encourage anyone out there who feels any sort of shame for exactly what they’re going through, and no one knows the real story". The 'Lose You To Love Me' musician declared that she was "not a model," saying: "Never will be. And I think they’re awesome, mind you. I’m just definitely not that." "I just wanted to tell you I love you guys, and thanks for supporting me and understanding.
