A bride has gone viral on social media after her wedding day hairstylist revealed that she used a strong adhesive to glue her ears back to create a flawless look. In a video posted to Instagram on August 27, a Brazilian hair stylist called Mí Martins showed one of her client's looks for her special day. The reel featured a woman holding a small tube of Three Bond Super 1000 glue, before taking the top off of it and applying it to the back of the bride’s ears. The bride, who is called Lorena, could then be seen pushing her ears back to her head, in order to secure the glue. The video ended with a "before" photo of her ears without the glue, and then an "after" snap of her with the adhesive on her ears. "Today’s bride asked for a high bun, but she didn’t want her ear to show," Martins wrote. "She’s been using this glue technique for some time!! And today was no different at your wedding." As of this writing, the Instagram Reel has 20.2 million views, with many viewers in the comments writing that they are stunned by the bride’s decision to use the transparent adhesive. One user wrote, according to Google translate, that the bride's decision to pin her ears back is "an absurd thing" and "atrocity," while another shared: "This is too crazy." A third user pointed out, per Google translate, that the glue will "warm up" after having contact with the bride's skin. "Getting a small amount of super glue on the skin isn’t harmful to most people," Anthony said. "But a few people are allergic to it. It can cause a skin reaction called contact dermatitis. The reaction shows up a few days after the exposure and looks like a poison ivy rash."
