A mom-to-be was enraged after her gender reveal party was sabotaged by her own mother. Back in 2021, TikTok user Ashlee - who goes by the handle <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@dinkymisspretty?lang=en">@dinkymisspretty</a> - had invited her family and friends to find out whether her unborn baby would be a girl or a boy. In the short video, the mother - who already had a son - is seen overcome with emotion when she popped a balloon and pink confetti exploded out. She started jumping up and down with excitement upon seeing the pink color and thought that she was having a baby girl, only to be left disappointed after her son came over to tell her what her mom had done. Ashlee wrote in the overlay text: "Clearly you can see I wanted a girl so bad and in that moment I felt like I hit the lottery," and then added: "Then here comes my son making me realize its really another boy. I was p***ed." After sharing the video on the platform, it amassed 726K views and 108.9K likes, with many people agreeing that Ashlee had every right to be upset at what transpired.
